VFR800 Vs BMW 1200GS

I've been looking for a 2nd bike for a while, specifically to do the commuting and some 2 up work, but still keeping it all in a fun ride.

Rich (Topcat) and I took out a VFR and a 1200GS one Saturday back to back, you can find the review here. if you're interested....

Has got some good feedback on the VFR forum.

I'd take the VFR... However, I'd then chop it in for something less practical :)

Friend of mine traded a 916 in for the 1200GS, and now wished he'd done it earlier.
He really rates the handling of the beemer, and his wife finds it a far comfy pillion
