BMC filter

I know itīs been written before - but a search didnīt help me

I have a svsK1 with a dyno 1, main jets size 140 (new pilots) and slip-on exhaust - 2― turn on air/Fuel today with a K&N - but got the possebility to change it... 8)

I simply cant figure which model to buy ? race or not in BMC - or where to buy it - somewhere in Europe ?

Anybody  ??

A BMC Street will work with your setup otherwise you need 165 jets and a BMC Race. It doesn't matter if its RS or not as you can desnorkle and its identical. Tank spacers also a neccessity.

Sigh! I would argue the toss on both points but I simply can't be bothered!

Well you can't because BMC said its the same filter and that you need tank spacers. Read their email I posted in another thread.

That was't what they said at all!

The only diffrece is the open top. If you want the best performance please visit www.factorypro.com ; they have spacers for the fuel tanks that permit to have a better air flow and increase performance
They said that if you want the *best* performance then use tank spacers...

I would also be interested to know why when we cut the top out of a BMC Race filter we couldn't get the bike to run cleanly with the same settings that worked fine with the BMC RS. Maybe I'll ask them...

I know for sure there is a bundle of threads with BMC, but ? it dosent help ME ?

Where can i buy the dam.... filter, not at JHS he recommends another, and i DONT want that...

140 or 165 - I got the 140 ? with other pilots - and i got tankspacers, so im ready for BMC +????????

I like the blatent fact BMC who make the BMC Air-Filter are wrong according to a certain user.

Perhaps the reason you couldn't get the bike to bloody work is you are not the motorbiking oracle you believe yourself to be.

And yes, I'm still a little fed-up with the bashing I took on here for being funny, and not admitting to knowing everything about every motorcycle.

I see you're trying to take it a step further now.

Sorry Powergaard back to you, search for BMC on the forum search, there's a large thread (you can't miss it) which also has the UK distributor name and tel. They cost Ģ55.

AAAAhhhh, the big BMC filter debate.

I just won this on Ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MEWN:IT

Can anybody tell which this filter it is from the pic? (I aint got it yet), all I know is the code on it is bmc 205/10 :?:

If so, will it be ok to use with my 2000 S model with slip on renegade?

Cheers
