SV is only 69 - 71 ish! It's probably the grunt out of the corners where they are making up the time.

I've always wanted a zxr400. Don't know why, but I really like them :D

No it isn't  It's coz it only has a 400cc engine :D

A well-ridden one would see off an SV650 on a twisty track, though

We had great fun racing against tuned 400s at Cadwell and Lydden earlier this year.

They were blinding down the straights but bizarrely the SV650s could carry almost as much corner speed and haad much better grunt ont he way out.

The best way of getting by was to nip up the inside on the brakes, get in the way in the corners and use the grunt to pull away. Once you had killed their corner speed you could get away and wouldn't see them again for the rest of the race!
