K3 wiring diagram????
OK last night was talking some of you guys about my nice K3 naked clock on my (not quite so nice) K1 bike. I have it fitted, and I think it looks the dogs danglers with the new twin spot lights. I think however, that it would be even better if it were practical as well as aesthetically pleasing.
In other words it would be cool if it did more than just sit there looking good. I am having difficulty getting the damn thing to work. I have wired it wire colour to wire colour but nothing worked. What I need is a wiring diagram that shows me what wire that comes out of the plug that fits into the clock does so that I can match them up. I have looked on the site, as I was told last night there there is one here. Well I had previously looked but couldn't find it. I have just done the same again this morning, and low and behold I STILL can't find it. Can someone please post me the link to where it is? Cheers |
Morning....
The might be one in http://www.sv650.org/SV_service_manu...cal_System.zip But as Ian (or Mark) said, its may not good enough to follow, i dont think. Dan |
hmm there doesnt seem to be a diagram in there.
http://home.earthlink.net/~nkdsv/das...acing_dash.PDF has the K2 connector and tells you which every wire does. so you might be able to figure it out with a multimeter? Dan |
i have just had one scanned in 2 halfs and spent 20 minutes putting it together properly, if you guys want it i will email it to someone and hopefully admin might be able to put it up on the forum

Either that or perhaps a couple of people have different Haynes Manuals you could borrow.
Mine does a '99-'01. No scanner I'm afraid, but I could get the other half to photocopy the pages and snail-mail them to you if needed. |
