SPARK PLUG UPGRADE

Hello all, hope you have been enjoying the great biking weather, i was wondering if any one had upgraded there sparg plugs and leads. if so to what to, price, feel etc.

I've used expensive plugs before and not noticed any difference to the standard ones.

I'd put the cash towards an air filter, exhaust and rejetting for a better performance increase.

Depends how sensitive you are to such things.

I've known people with a 4cyl bike saying it's not quite right and a bit slow, and it's been like that for a couple of weeks, and then I've found it's only running on 3 cyls.

If you're like that, then don't bother.

Others (inc. me  ) are touchy to the point of paranoia, and complain about wheel balance when there's a stone stuck in the tread. If you're one of these, then yes they're worthwhile.

I found the iridium plugs in my SK1 (carbs) made it just that little bit sweeter, better tip-in from overrun, better cold running etc. It's all very subtle, but a mate of mine fitted them in his SK1 and said exactly the same things even though we hadn't discussed it before.

They do last longer too, for what it's worth. You pays your money..........

I got mine from

What brand would you recommend? I know I've heard people slate one of the manufacturers, but can't remember who...
