Rev limiter warning?

Wotcha everybody,

Quick question. on nice dry days I've been *cough* exploring the rev range of my sv....

at a certain point in the revs both indicator lights start to flicker?? is this a 'please change gear now' sign or something wrong?

Thanking you for all responses

Gav

Never heard of or seen that! I've hit the limiter once or twice by accident, but never had lights come on! Strange!

err not sure if i explained myself properly... the indicator lights on the display flicker, not the actual indicators

Gav - At what point (RPM) does this happen mate?

err....couldn't tell you exactly as I'm usually flying at that point and watching for cows/dogs/traffic, but it's towards the end of the rev range, possibly in the red?
