Well, going along the lines of the Unfaithful thread...

Come very close once, when the ex and I were having a BLAZING row. It was either her or the wall. I went away with a broken hand. 'Nuff said!

Not in the way you mean. I have in my martial arts classes, but in those we were always told to fight everyone as equals, never look down on a beginner and never look down on a women (and in my case up to almost everyone!)

I'd hit a few people for hitting women though! :roll:

no excuse for it, whatever the provocation. do what Mark did, hit something else if you really have to.

hitting a woman is extremely cowardly.

Nope never have, I did pick my ex up and throw her across the Kitchen in our flat once, was a pretty bad thing to do, but she was trying to cut her wrists open with a knife at the time and that was the quickest way to get her away from the knife she was trying to pick up

Gotta agree with you there. No chance I would hit a woman in anyway, except in practice at the club. never would in real life.

And agree with M65, if you have to hit, hit something else.

I still felt like **** about doing that though, I couldnt grab her wrists or aynthing as she would have cut me instead, I didnt really know what else to do it was a gut reaction kind of thing

I can understand you feeling bad, but that was fast thinking to stop her. Hope she's ok.
