Acumen pagers
 

Without wanting to sound a complete numpty, has anyone fitted an Acumen alarm pager to their SV? I've recently bought one and was hoping to get some guidance to avoid making a complete **** up of it. I've got a K2 with a Meta 251(I think) alarm/immobiliser and primary school electronics skills.

The acumen pager needs a perm live, switched live (on K2 its the orange wire that comes from under the fusebox), ground, trigger from the alarm. You will need to look in the install manual (if they give that to you) to see what wire you need.

Also check that there is not a special wire you need to ground to stop false alarms (the datatool has this to stop getting pager alerts all the time).
