Top News!
I've been given a bike course at work!! :D Three weeks in June riding around the south of England learning the art police biking.....Roll on the Summer!! The only draw back is that it's on a BMW
I do have a question to ask, however, for anyone in the know! We are issued with Shoei Syncrotech helmets with the flip up fronts. There is one guy I know who has refused to use one due to the moving parts and he has been issued with an Arai Astro J (I think). Are the Shoeis up to the job?? |
Nice one on the bike course, I think there are alot of people who'd like to get onto something like that.
Not completely sure about the Shoei, but I have heard good things about the syncrotech. |
The Shoei Lids are superb :!: They are the only helmets (which flip) which have actually been designed as a 'full face' helmet that opens, as opposed to an 'open face' helmet that closes (i.e. Cabreg Justissimo's etc) :!:
I'd certainly have one (if you get a 'spare' ) |
Well done mate..........not jealous at all. No sirreee
Don't worry about the Syncrotecs - they're OK, but the coppers down here prefer the BMW lids that they used to have, and the Nolans, too. They say the Synch is a bit noisier, but that's the only downside. I trust that when you've done all the humungous training and assessments you'll be volunteering to instruct on the Bikesafe courses? :D |
