If there is a choice I get the limited edition one - providing it's not too much more.

If I have the album and they then release a limited edition I refuse to buy it a second time and curse the rip off nature of CD's / DVD's etc

I wouldn't do what an ex house mate of mine did.
Bought LOTR
When the two disc was released he got it
When the 4 disc was released he got that too etc etc etc

I couldn't beleive anyone would pay that much for one film...

I tend to just buy CDs regardless of whether they're ltd ed or not. Sometimes a really good one comes along that I'll want- live discs usually- but not very often. If I've the choice of 2, I'd chose the one with the most tracks though.

The best ltd edition ever was the Carter USM strictly limited edition Worry Bomb with the live album... Still in the shops about a decacde later :)
