Front Forks

How about sk2 forks on an sk1?

whatdya think elmer?

gimme an idea on price, it's the couch potatoe thread that's made me think

are there any better options?

Iansv 22-02-05 09:47 PM

are they not the same ? except maybe a fixing bolt...

New springs setup for your weight and maybe oil change and away you go, less than £100 quid
course if you have the k1 you'll need the preload adjusters and the shim/spacer kit too

If it's the preload adjusters you're after, they should go onto your forks.
You can buy them from JHS, methinks.

Guess you been looking at the jhs page.

I was talking with Mudege32 at Rivvy the other day, before he took his bike for an Elmur. I questioned springs as I am a fat git and need to do something.

There exists a set of tables and equations that say for such and such a weight you need such and such a spring rate. However everywhere I look seem to say such and such a bike we sell such and such a spring. OK I can understand this for progressive springs. However, if I want a linear spring to suit my bike/weight, where do I go for mail order? or is this a question for the Fud?

GSXR Carlos 23-02-05 09:10 AM

yep, scrap the £136.20, any body got about £3000?

That my friend is deffinitely a question for the Fud,

i just keep looking on the internet, it's sad really, i can't afford anything, but if i could i'd be asking Mr Fud straight away :)
