Bar Raisers
 

I Have just bought 2 sets of Flat Bars for the SV and for my dads Hornet, the bars are universal.

But, on both bikes, when the flat bars are fitted, when they are on full lock, the cables protuding from the Throttle etc, push into the tank.

My dad said he should have known it would happen (professional mechanic :roll: ) but we didnt forsee, he knows you can get bar raisers, and we looked through the only source of bike parts we have (demon tweeks), but we couldnt find anything at all.

Just wondering if anybody knows of a site or company that does universal bar raisers, cant just be for the SV, cuz we need one for the hornet too.

I tried a search on the forum but also came up trumps :(

You'll have to check on suitability re bar diameter and bolt spacing, but there's bar risers here for various Hondas, BMW etc in a range of heights

Hi,
You may still have problems fouling screen and tank. I fitted a LSL full conversion(New top yoke, risers etc.) and bars just clear. If I had really big hands, would foul mirrors on full lock. Had to cut screen down as well.

Most of the accessory people sell risers Busters, M&P possibly Hein Gericke.
