Digi Gear Indicator
 

I know this has been posted before and I have just spent the last hour looking thru previous posts, but cant find it.
I am trying to fit a Digi Gear Indicator to my 99 SV650S. The included wiring instructions do not cover my bike, so I went on the Datatool website and it tells me that I need a Wheel Sensor Kit. The Sv has an electronic speedo, do I really need a sensor kit?? The indicator powers up and seems to work, but i cant calibrate it. I am using the pink wire from the front wheel sensor for the speedo pulse, but obviously it doesnt work. Anyone help????
