On a lighter note, do you love your bike
After all the speeding and breaking threads I though I'd start something along more happy lines so...
I love my SV, there are things that I would like to change and maybe even bikes that I would like to have, but and its a BIG BUT I don't think I could bear to part with it. |
Since I got out of hospital mine's hardly had a day go by without me visiting it :) It was the first thing I did after I got home. And to keep it happy I've been buying it expensive presents- titanium is for life!

To me she's not a stepping stone to another bike anymore than any other bike is.
I love my SV, even if I do keep throwing her at the ground. |
Love her, when she's working...
It is a stepping stone in some ways but i'll always keep it, the money it cost me to buy, repair and customise it'd be pointless selling, will eventually become my 2nd/spare bike |
I love my SV bein a new rider i've not had her long but i can't see a time when i'd want to part with her, well maybe only for a newer one. But it'll have to be candy blue again. :D

without question I LOVE my SV....(even though I keep crashing it   )
of all the bikes Ive had/ridden, the SV is the one thats got my heart strings... I cant put into words what it is about the bike but I love it.... just such a big grin factor bike... I get off the bike after a long ride and Im grinning from ear to ear.... no other bikes given me that... Had one in oz.... loved that so much got one immediately I came back here.... to me a bike is for life. Given the mileage I do, any bike I get would have bugger all resale value  so Im keeping the SV.... I will have other bikes, but with my SV rather than instead of.... |
Yes I do love it, I want a bigger bike soon, but I dont think I can bear to part with mine either
|
the sv is my first big bike love
i'm really taken with it to the point where I can't see myself changing to a different bike (unless an aprillia tunono or a Buell lands in my lap) and it was because of this place that I chose the SV, i nearly bought a blandit or a hairnet |
Love it...
The GPZ was fun, but this is in another league. The sound, the pull and brake of the V-Twin. I'm hooked. However... I'd still love a Duke 998 decked in the Fila colours... But doubt I'll ever lay my hands on one... |
LUV luv luv luv luv luv LUV my Roger... :D
