How good is Muc Off?

Unbelievable stuff! I finally got the bike dragged out of the garage for a long overdue wash- when i got laid up I just sprayed it with about a litre of FS365 and it's been festering since... I was all set for a battle, and all it took was a spray and a hose-down. Magic! Went through about a third of the whole bottle mind, but then it was unspeakably manky so no wonder. can't really believe how well it worked.

Is there anything better? I'm not sure how, just curious :)

I love Muc Off too!

Great at the metal bits, and keeps your seat looking good, even if you have a cat that sits on it every night!

I normally use the Hein Gericke cleaner £7 or 8 pounds for 5L bottle and dilute it with water(maybe 50/50 or 40% water ). For certain areas I use it neat. Lasts a while as well.

How much is 'Muck Off ?

Cheers
Ben

I have also started using the HG stuff. Just as good but as you can buy a 5L container, it works out cheaper.

Spray it on, leave it 5 mins, rinse it off and then wash with a normal car shampoo. Rinse and leather. Polish with Autoglym until it's all shiney.....

Ahhh that feels better

I think it's about £20 for a 5-litre refill, I paid a fiver for my 1-litre tub... I'll try the HG stuff once I empty this bottle- won't take long, i did two festering rusty mountain bikes with it today as well :)

I got 10L of muc off, when busters had it on sale. Seems good enough, i think it cost 15quid for 10L so, a lot cheaper than retail.

Yeah, I think Busters still have a discount for bottles...
