Nurburgring Trip 2005, are you still interested?

Hi all,

After the initial interest in the Nurburgring trip, wheeltrax received very little in the way of confirmations. So he's asked me to see if i can give a helping hand!

So, if you're still interested in this 5 day trip to the 'ring can you leave your vote and perhaps a reason why the dates suggested for May weren't suitable so we can accomodate a few more people and make it more of an event.

Myself, i would have gone had the dates been better. But im in Tenerife for the current suggested dates for the middle of May.

Thanks guys!

sorry, finances and dates don't allow me to go now, may consider it in future years tho

Did you check the new dates in September?

Got my sisters VERY EXPENSIVE wedding in august thats gonna eat all my money

I should be ok for those september dates. If it doesn't mess up anyone's plans, my intention would be to just meet you guys on the Saturday evening, probably leaving again on the Tuesday morning.

Are you staying in Nurburg or Adenau?

I think it would probably complicate things slightly if I was to "officially" join this trip, but I'll be there.

If anyone wants bike transport please let me know or post here. You'd be without a bike for the beginning and end of the trip. I did a spot of investigation and it seems I can probably take two or three bikes, so I'll have at least one spot free.

I'm definately not able to come now- no cash & forbidden by my girlie (she was researching the dangers of the nurburgring for work and burst into tears at the mention of me going  )

is it THAT dangerous?

mysteryjimbo 26-04-05 01:32 PM

No. Its as dangerous as you make it.

Obviously there are some idiots who push it too much and pay the price. Its like going for a fast race around country roads without the risk of the plod coming after you or oncoming traffic.
