My alarm is possessed...
Either that or it's just me that's cursed (wouldn't be suprised with my track record..) well the SV has lasted me a 2 reliable weeks before leaving me stranded out in the rain, I'm pretty sure it's the alarm, as it acts really weird .. it sets itself off randomly , then goes off... then sometimes it's set when It urn the key but when I know it shouldn't be set... then it was setting itself every time I pressed the start button.. then today it killed the battery andleft me stuck at the bottom of a steep hill
So, Bandit400 lasted 1 hr before I sold it due to it being not very good at all... ZXR400 lasted 9 months before developing fueling and electrical problems.. R6 lasted 6 months, 2 crashes and sold due to wanting the KTM WR400 lasted about 300 road miles because just about everything went wrong with it. KTM blew engine within 4 weeks of ownership. £1100 odd repair bill. Not to mention the leaking fork seals, knackered wheel bearings and totalled rear shock  Sv lasted 2 weeks before I broke the alarm..   I'm either gonna become a monk and be happy with no bikes, or just get a bloody car and sell everything else... SV should be fixed once alarm is removed and battery re-charged  I could go on just keeping bike on the optimate but the battery isn't going to last long if the alarm keeps draining it, and it might leave me stranded again. sounds more like your cursed

Clever old me was sitting on my bike in the middle of town and clicked the ignition to off without thinking. 30 seconds later "bleep" and the motion sensor is activated, cue the slowest ever reach into the inside pocket of my leathers to try and get the fob out without setting the alarm off.
One smart cookie. |

hehe I've done that a few times back on the R6 that had auto-arming alarm.. a few times when pulled up I left ignition on to stop it arming.. goes to start it and bzzzz stuck in middle of countryside with a bike that won't start  Since learnt to bump start it ;) Altho the SV doesn't seem to want to bump, no idea why. |
