Help needed , your time , charity (north air ambulance)
 

there is a proposed runout to help finance the north air ambulance (currently out of funds)

it is a run from Carlisle to devils bridge via hartside, hopefully with a 3000 plus attendance.

if anyone wishes to take part it is on the 29th may meeting at hein gericke in carlisle around 9 to 10 am (everyone registering has to be there in that hour ) then setting off at around 11am heading for brampton, alston , devils, and back.

it is £5 quid to do the run and all goes to the air ambulance (u never know when you may need it).

The Pride of Cumbria it's called but covers a vast area anywhere it's needed really in the north west.

just thiunk how near it is to you being most of the good roads are rural and land based ambulances take ages to travel the lovely twisty roads we so so enjoy.

The Cumbria Constab are organising a day at Carlisle Race Course in late July for the Air Ambulance, can't remember the exact date, heard about it on the Keswick-Whitehaven Easter Egg run.

I will get more details from our local bike bobby!
