Rear Brake torgue arm

What is the brake torque arm for? If it is removed will the caliper swing round when you brake?

Yep it will mate.

just wandering, i will probably need to get a new caliper because i cant be arsed to try and get the seased pin out, it was at it for 30 mins this morning and nothing.

It would have been nice to fit the GSXR1000 K3-4 caliper, but it has no torque arm bit, the good thing is that the pin has an allen bolt head to take it out.
