Anyone tried Avon Vipers?
 

Almost time to change tyres.

Guess it's gonna be Z6 or RoadAttack.

But what about the new Avons? Any experiences?

I'm quite interested in these. I might even stick a pair on for the summer. They seem to be about the same price as the Z6.

although going on the Triumph, I'll be fitting a set when the z6's are through, I've got about 4,500 on them at present and about the same to go.

Don't forget though these are sports tyres and not equivalent to the sports touring Z6, thats the AV45/46.
These are Diablo, Diablo Corser and Supercorsa equivalents.

So they wear out pretty quick then. :lol:

Equivalents in terms of market position etc.

Avon are saying from mileage test results that the

Sport will give 4-6k miles

Supersports 3-5k

Xtreme 2-3k

Feedback from the racing scene is that the Supersport is as fast as the Rennsport but last twice as long!

Sport is more than enough for the road and odd trackday
