Just like to say...

A big thank you to Toad, Will and any others involved in that thread a while ago involving 'The Cavalry'. =D>

A screw in the rear tyre of my diablo, it's completely flat and can't get any air into it. No local shops have puncture repair kits either. A quick search on this site found an old thread with his number and one hugely helpful puncture expert is off to fix my bike later on today....whilst its still chained to the lampost.

Cheers

We must get a pic of his bike

Who is this puncture repair expert? Will or Toad?

Benji

Neither and at the moment as far as i am concerned he is the voice at the end of the phone. Seemed like a thoroughly nice bloke though and supposedly does a good job.

Does anyone know if he just repairs it as you would yourself with a puncture repair kit or if he actually plugs it properly as they would at a garage?

plugs it. is the screw in the centre of the tyre or near the side? if its near the edge he might not be able to repair but he'll get you a deal on a new tyre and fit it for you.

PS steve, if you can, get some piccies of his bike and the kit he carries. mind boggling!

Its towards the edge of the tyre but from my rather sketchy description he said it should be ok.

Unfortunately i won't get to see the spectacle that is his bike, i'm at work but he said he was going down south later on so would stop by, have a look and fix it if he could. His main problem at the moment is my bike is currently chained to a lampost so i have basically made it as tricky as possible for him!

So Basically this guy rolls up on his bike, super suit & All (No cape though)* and fixes puncures before screaming off into the sunset? Cool!

*hopes someone else has seen the incredibles.....

Yep, and if i don't pay him he comes back the next day and slashes it! :)
