Teka vs. Yoshi vs. Power Commander

I appreciate that we've had the Power Commander debate before but I thought it would be worth mentioning that we've been getting some good results from using a Yoshi box on the MiniTwin race bikes.

To top that we've found even more power when using the Teka box! In my experience after fitting a full system to a fuel injected SV650 we've been able to get 2 - 3 horse power from a Yoshi set up and then got another 1 - 2 horse power by setting up again with a Teka box.

What is a TEKA box? I have never heard of one

Teka's the Factory Pro equivalent of the Yoshi box, I think. Heard a lot of good about in on SV Rider, but I don't actually know anything about it myself...

That's the one. Only about 300 quid new but only really needed once to set it up on the dyno. Most places should only charge 50 - 100 quid to set your bike up.

You wouldn't bother buying one unless you race. You pay a garage to use one on your bike.
The K3 ECU can indeed be remapped, that's what the Yoshi box is used to do.

Jordans Bikes in leeds have just got one, if i remember correct they charge about £100 for a basic remap, and about £130 for a full remap ( or whatever that means), hope i got that right.
