Can I get lower footpegs

Hey all...I have a '04 "S" model. I know the footpegs are lower and more further forward than the other models (I believe).

Infortunately, due to my prosthetic, the back of my leg is getting pinched. After 1/2 an hour, I have to get off the bike.

Is there something which can be done which can bring the pegs forward a little bit?

Possibly raise the seat a bit? I dunno.

Any help would be appreciated.

I believe naked footpegs would be lower, but not further forwards... You could probably have footrest plates made up that would move you down and forwards as well, or as you say a higher seat.

The "S" has the footpegs slighly higher and further back than the naked SV. Maybe get them swapped over? However the difference isn't that great, so measure them first would be my suggestion.

Perhaps the 'super-low' : http://brgracing.com/svRearsets.html

Thanks for all the replies all. Does anyone have an idea how much lower the standard SV pegs are to the faired version?

I like the idea of 1.5 inch lower pegs....but i'm afraid they'll drag and that will be too much. 1.5 is a lot.

e-bay or breakers yards will be your best bet.
or even a straight swap with someone on here. (no idea who tho.)
