lifting the fuel tank off... ??

Right, i need to lift my fuel tank off my bike, its a K3.
I know I can pop it up, I need to take the whole damned thing off, as the hinge on the bottom needs replacing..

now.. what the heck do I need to do ?? Im more worried about the fuel lines etc than anything else actualy.. the rest looks OK to me..

cheers!

There's a section in the manual pdf (4MB) on how to remove it.

Might be fiddly, but I bet you can change the hinge without undoing the fuel line and vacuum hose if you really want to...

Tank or plug?

Nothing can be more fiddly than taking the front spark plug out !!! - maybe with practice I might get quicker ? but there's not much room to work in down there.........

I just make more space if I need to, you can drop the radiator right past the head if you need to...
