Fogging!
Got a proper problem with fogging before I get going with both visor and glasses. Anti mist stuff is pretty much usless
I've tried holding my breath but this tends to make me go blue and stop concentrating  whats is the best solution |
For the visor...stop fogging by getting a Fog City or something similar, basically double glazing for visors.
For Glasses...no idea as the above will not stop your glasses fogging. Could go with a Foggy Face Mask which deflects your breath down and away from the visor and glasses...should stop both! HTH Magoo |
I have a Shoei Xr1000 with a pin lock visor. Excellent for not fogging up.

face mask is the way to go if you wear glasses - also you won't get the annoying reflections that can affect you if you have an insert.

Probably not that helpful, but contact lenses help... lots of people I know won't/don't wear them but it saves loads of hassle with steaming up...
Visor should stay clear if you leave it open at the lowest setting at anything above 20mph... I flip mine up if I'm stopped or going much slower than that for long. I vary between wearing a cheapo takachi TK30 with plain visor and an arai quantum with a fogcity... and they're both as good/bad when it comes to fogging up - it's just down to upping the airflow to clear it out. Some days, especially very cold and damp, all you can do is have the visor as wide open as possible and be cold  |
Try smearing (just a little bit) of washing up liquid on the inside of the lenses and "rub in" to the glass. It works great on visors and works on my sunglasses.

My shoei was a pig for this I wear glasses to
I've got a foggy face mask, and that improved things quite a lot, but what finally sorted it out was a fog city insert for my visor Never had a problem since, it does distort the visor a little at night with a small bit of ghosting but its not much |
I must admit I got the ghosting really bad on my arai.

It may not be much help, but I found changing to contact lenses to be the best option. Not only was I able to see more, and have better peripheral vsion, but I didn't have to worry about my specs misting up, or them sliding down my nose, or fitting under my lid.

Got a Fog City insert, I do tend to get the ghosting but its only really noticable in the rain. I wear contact lenses instead of glasses, I found the they kept sliding down my nose and I really am blind without them.
