HI and welcome to the site.
|
I usually leave mine running for as long as it takes to wheel it out of the garage and put my helmet and gloves on, so yeah, couple of minutes...
|
Thank
many thanks Guys, i pick it up on saturday, im sooooooo excited
|
Brand new bikes should not be left to warm up I belive, the pistons will glaze if you do. Start up and ride away gently, building up load/revs as you go.
Oh, and welcome 8) |
As long as it takes me to put my helmet and gloves on, 2 minutes tops.
|
As long as it takes to wheel it from the back garden to the front in the moring. Gloves, helmet and sun glasses in the afternoon...
|
i wheel it out the garage, go inside, get my kit on.
Come out, lid on, start bike, gloves ride off. So um, i dont, |
I read here previously that it should be about 15 - 20 seconds, the thread was to do with running the bike in etc.
As a result of this I get my gear on except my gloves, wheel the bike out of the garage, start it up and then put my gloves on. By the time this is done its ready to go. I follow this method each time I am getting on the bike. HTH, welcome to the site BTW. |
