Meant to post this a while back... from a free supplement with Ride magazine, and meant to be based on the infamous Glasses guide... prices seem to be "summer prices" and I've seen cheaper than these, but it's handy for insurance and getting a rough idea...

What I noticed is though, is that everyone is asking more than these prices by quite a bit.

I got my SV650S K4 earlier this year for £3400 from a dealer, just 1800 miles on the clock... it depends on what they have in and the time of the year. February is a great time to buy as the weather makes business bad, there's leftover models from last year on pre-reg and the new models are due out soon.

If the prices seem high, shop around - I got mine from George White - great deals, though I didn't stick with them for the servicing... Bat motorcycles in Biggin Hill is a good one too... some shops are cheeky... and even privately, some people want more for their 1 year old bike than you can buy a "new" pre-reg for... keep looking and you'll find some bargains!
