Official Undertray/Scottoiler Touring Kit Question

Hi Folks,

I believe you don't need a fender eliminator if you fit an undertray with one built in, as the official suzuki undertray has. However, scottoiler recommends that the touring kit (which is mounted on the back of a normal, full sized numberplate) is only fitted on strongly mounted number plates- not those on fender eliminators.

My question is this:

Has anyone got the K4 suzuki undertray and fitted a scottoiler touring kit to their numberplate with no adverse effects? Are scottoiler just being over-cautious to cover their own backs? Is the numberplate mount built into the official undertray more like the one on the stock mudguard, ie stronger than that on things like a hamicad fender eliminator?

I'm asking as I've just got a payrise and may be making a few 'tweaks' to the bike :D

Oh yes, if you want to be pedantic, that's 3 questions!

BUMP for the week/daytime people.

I had the touring kit fitted and then the next week fitted the hamicad.

Now the Hamicad is a solid looking bit of kit but there is no way IMO that a touring kit can be fitted onto it.

Perhaps the best compromise could be to get the lube tube and fit it inside the rear plastics instead?
