pampers ar*e wipes
 
discovered this morning how good they are for cleaning wheels, removes allsorts of crud & chain wax. brilliant.

Wet wipe kind of things are also very uselfu to keep with you in general! They make excellent visor wipes and will clean most things off of most things... If you see what I mean! :lol:

When I was a lad I always used to clean the chain of my bicycle outside the laboratory window with sterile mediwipes. The alcohol in them did a lovely job and the chlorhexidine kept the bugs away nicely.

There's no correlation between the routes I pedalled along and MRSA, btw :oops:

But as Tim says wetwipes are a jolly good and handy thing to have. I'd advise taking them on any biking trip.

I expect he tried using a wet wipe to clean his chain and found it worked quite well.
