Anyone used these guys before www.n-w-s.com

Just phoned up George Whites to get my first service arranged and also mentioned that I wanted to replace the snow plough on the back. They said they use the tail tidy from the above company and can fit it for me (to see it goto Suzuki - SV - SV650K3).

Seems like a good idea after the recent pictures of trying to fit the Hamicad one with a chef's knife !

I haven't seen or used the FE from NWS, but I have the pivot stand from them and it's bloody good.
Very good quality construction and very quick delivery.
Most people also seem to be of the opinion that NWS make pretty good stuff.

Check your bike after their first service- after mine, the gear lever fell off and the electrics were playing up. Could be chance that they both happened just after the first service, but I've had no problems before or since and I'm not risking using them again. On the flip side, their clothing/accessories dept. is very good and I still use that regularly

Ceri JC - Are you saying you had problems with George Whites in particular ?

I'm taking mine there as the first service is free but plan to take it there after as i don't want to use Fowlers

NWS very good.
They are a small engineering firm in Hertford and make good quality stuff.
Ive got a carbon hugger (half price factory second, cant tell)on the sv,and a grab rail and plastic hugger on my zx9r.I had one of their huggers on my old zx6r too and all have been faultless.
Another reason I would recommend them is that they fitted my 9r hugger on the spot because I couldnt get it in my rucksack.Nothing like good customer service.

Cos the thing with the lever seems to be a K4 (?? correct me chaps) specific niggle (or problem if its does fall off) so best to have a check before you ride off or ask the mechanic to look at it with you.

Check what they will charge to fit the tidy. Me or any other of the locals would be able to help you do the tail tidy in an hour or so, so don't get stung.
