Fitted one (oval) the other day. Now has the baffle in and seems to be just as raunchy.

whats it like with the bafle?
ill prob buy ont to do you have to drill or anything? dose it make that much of a diference? oh and have you told ur insurance company ? |

The baffle comes drilled with a nut / bolt and if you use that you'll have to drill the end pipe. I didn't - I drilled a couple of 2.5mm holes in the baffle and used 3mm self-tapping screws, screwed in to wedge the baffle in place, which works fine. The baffles are general for any exhaust and have to be cut off to match the slanting end pipe of this can. Yes - told the insurance company. They were cool as long as the system is BS approved (baffle is stamped with BS mark). |

I think technically it should have a baffle in to be road legal, but the regulations for MOTs and the laws for construction and use don't agree, so it's just messed up. |
