Need pointers for tomorrows little job
 
Right then tomorrow my task should i wish to accept it is to sort out my fuel light that flashes constantly at me.


I'm a complete numpty so where do i start? :shock:

On a serious note (difficult on Friday night after a beer)

Go to the home page and click on 'FAQs and how tos'. In there you'll find a link to the SV 650 manual. Download the fuel and lubrication chapter and look in the index for the bit on the fuel level switch. I think (but not sure) that it has a float It shows how to remove it and test it.

Alternatively if you're close to another SVer swap fuel level switches and see if your problem goes away (if it does, bugger off before they have chance to swap it back)
