It's the same every summer :( .

That's on Akula's patch isn't it?

The one we passed on the AR05 made me sombre for a while, has anyone heard news on that one?

No, not heard anything about it. I think I'd seen the bike already that day (distinctive gold colour and old fashioned blocky fairing).

Someone wrote in the AR05 section that they'd seen the rider walking around and talking to the fuzz :D

No matter how many happen, each and every one is very, very sad.

Damn.
Saw a goldwing on it's side skating through london last night...assume everyone was ok but one of the few bikes that has a chance of giving as good as it gets with a car....

I know I shouldn't speculate. What's the betting the bike was T-boned with some dozy sod pulling out of the hotel.

Whatever happened, and whoever it was,

Thats true. But they are all too common in the summer months when the fair weather riders come out to play on machines they are not capable of controlling.

Quite possible. I ride past there two or three times a week and there's a slight bend although you have a reasonable time to react if someone pulls out. It's a 40 limit, but the number of ****s on the A38 seems to have increased exponentially recently. I've encountered a couple of cars heading towards me on my side of the road in the last few days and seen some pretty stupid driving (and riding).
