Your dog seems to have something stuck somewhere nasty...
Good job with R n G, next on my list... BN |
The bar and swingarm ones aren't so dramatic but I think they can help. Well, when I binned it at Knockhill both were ground down nicely, and for every bit of energy they soak up something else takes less, so I'm glad to have had them on.
They weren't R&G ones, DHB barends and noname Ebay swingarm ones, but I've got the R&Gs on now since I'm a tart. I would say the R&G swingarm ones are the best I've seen, they stick out a lot further and therefore should offer a bit more protection. Barends are barends, one's much like another I think, though the R&G ones are weighted more than the DHBs if that's something that you think will be important (personally I can't tell any difference) |
I dropped my bike a few weeks ago, all I had on the swingarm were swingarm bobbins for a paddock stand... Im glad they were there.. as they got ground down real good!
Bought myself some R&G rash bobbins.. as in pick above, the new model, and I have on my list several more R&G products! hehehe... barends, and an exhaust protector to start with! |
The can protector's pretty good for what it is, but expensive. I see Motrax just started making a knockoff in the Double Hard range as well. I like mine but it doesn't work well with my exhaust system at all, bit of a pain.

whats a knockoff?

Sorry, slang for copy :) Theirs is basically identical to the R&G one but seems to lack the steel backplate. If it were cheaper it'd be great but it costs the exact same sadly.

thanks

I got exactly the same one from the Paddosck wood show for the same price. I think I have the wrong type though. I was hoping to fit lower fairings to my bike come winter. Does anyone know if I could still fit them? It say on the box SV 650 K3 - K4 unfaired.

So, if I have a 2000 curvy model, are there nice holes in the frame that I can bolt these crash bungs into? Or, dare I say it, do I need to drill them me self?
