15/16/17th July Paddy-Jock-Sassanach Rideout

A big rideout is planned in Scotland on the above Sat16th July with the Irish and Scottish SV's and as a few have expressed interest in riding some Tartan Tracks I thought this would be an ideal opportunity

The plan being to ride up on the Friday, getting a Travel Lodge near our destination,share a room and cost. Sat,go on a rideout and spend a evening at one of the host's homes for a BBQ having booked into a local
accomodation[Taxi ride distance] so as to enable the partaking of liquids
Sunday, not to early start,and make our way home
The journey up would be by the scenic route and the return either M/way or direct trunk roads

I estimate my own costs to be about £120 plus some spending money
Fuel 7 or 8 tanks =£80
Accomodation =£40 [Less sharing]
Spends as required

The alternative to the accom is camping but doing it on the share basis
means traveling light [Tailpack] with just enough clobber for a change of cloths for the Sat night,plus pers items

I've put this post on 4+weeks in advance so I can get an idea of numbers and intentions regards accom so as to book every thing for the numbers

Please consider this rideout as I am sure it will be great fun

Regards MAC

Yes count me in subject to being able to book that Friday off work.

Like the idea of travelling light, only if I can share room with someone who doesn't SNORE !

The only thing that puts me off, is the journey up there. Riding that distance for a weekend is plain lunacy!!! In my eyes anyway!
