SV650SK2 speedo sensor resistance query
 

- Has anybody measured the resistance between the speed sensor terminals ?
My sensor gives ~3MOhms between the Black/White and Red/Orange wires only.

I suspect the sensor might be faulty as it failed the speed sensor test as suggested in the Haynes manual (four 1.5V cells and a 1K resistor). I've already replaced the speedo rotor which was broken, though the speedo still isn't working. Would appreciate the chance to sanity check the reading before replacing the sensor.
