19th June Sunday Hartside meet?
me and couple of my friends will be having a relaxed run from newcastle to hartside and then barnard castle on sunday, anyone from this neck of woods fancy joining us... depending on the weather of course.
P.S. we are medium/slow paced, will be mostly sticking to speed limits being the weekend and that. |
Ahhh, I may be taking my first trip upto Hartside on Sunday morning (depends on Mrs PC) I will have my little boy as pillion so I will venture up on my own without any pressure on trying to keep up. But if you are deffo going medium/slow pace I could be interested??? What time are you thinking of going and what time do you think you will get back? I'm thinking of leaving 8.30 ish and get back about 2ish

Why don't you meet up with us lot on Saturday... You know you want too
|
Saturday is a deffo no go for me mate, other wise I would have jumped at the chance. Mrs PC is on night shift saturday night, so by default will be in bed on sunday morning from about 8:30 till maybe 2pm 8) I could sneak out and sneak back in without her even knowing

Which way are you going to Hartside mate, throught Stanley?
|
i think we are going to meet up at westgate road, and then millitrary road heading to hexham, from there all the way to hartside. on the way back, we turn off at alston heading towards barnard castle passing high force... alternatively, we could go to barnard castle first with the following route.
newcastle - RowlandsGill - Shotley Bridge (near Consett) - Stanhope - Eggleston - Barnard Castle. Barnard Castle - Middleton-In-Teesdale - Alston - hartside |
would love to but on hol till 24th june ! let me know of any others tho !!
