Talking Horny
First sorry about the heading, but you have to...
Just seen this on MCN http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?pa...urceId=2532804 and wondered if anyone has used anything like this or have fitted a louder horn to their bike. I know its not high on the list of mods but I've always had a dream of fitting a fog horn to my bike for those mindless sleeping drivers I meet in town  BigApe says: just for your info you left a space between the end of the url and the url close box. Now amended. |
Aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Mwahahahahaha

I always thought a horn from a train would be good - they're about 3 feet long!
|
Hmmmmmmm
Two of those would be nice!!! |
I would not connect it directly to the horn circuit, I would use a relay, that thing will pull some juice and burn the horn button out in no time without a relay
|
I prefer to use the clucth + race can + revs to wake up the volvo drivers :)
|
there's only one person in my life that needs to know i got a horn :D

Fitted twin Fiaam horns (Look same as the ones in your link) to my curvy and BOY are they loud! Gives you more chance of being heard by the myopic tin can drivers. Used them yesterday on a car who pulled into my path whilst I was filtering past  . As it was hot he had his window down, plus being almost alongside, the effect was quite amusing! The driver looked terrified; eyes wide, mouth open.....then he apologised! Hee hee
I got mine from a local auto-parts store and paid about £12 including cable and connectors. Anyhow, £9.99 isn't too bad for 136 decibels. Fit two through a relay and have fun! Happy scaring :D |
