G-Force Exhaust?

Hello, I'm new to this board, and have a quick question, I'm looking for opinions regarding G-Force exhaust. I believe there made in the UK, and therefore thought someone here might have had some personal experience they would be willing to share with a stateside SV rider.

Hi welcome to the site. I don't have any experience with the G-Force can but do know that some users of the site have indeed used them. Maybe have a look around at the bottom of the Forum main page and look at the reviews section / Exhausts. You will probably, maybe get a better response or indeed even already find what you are looking for in this section of the forum

Hi. I got a 3/4 G-Force exhaust on my K3 and I like it! Makes a big difference in noise and really gives you that proper "twin" sound that the SV should have.

After putting it on, I had a dyno run and found that its now running rich in 3 spots (STILL need to get that sorted  ) but other than that its fine. No major power increases to speak of that Ive noticed, but dont know if thats what you want or not.

Build quality seems to be good. Its been on for almost a year now, and been through the full spectrum of British weather but still comes up nice and shiny after a wash. All in all, worth it Id say. Go buy!!

Thanks for the response. I picked one up from E-Bay for $100.00 US, and afterwards was told that they are too loud and raspy sounding. Well, it's on it's way so I'll give it a chance.

Thanks again,

ImRandy

Spriderman has one I belive, may be worth asking him if he doesn't wander through this way of his own accord

Oh yes, they are that!! My baffle 'fell out' so I dont know what they are like with one in, but mines plenty loud enough with it out. Id say Art cans were louder to be honest so Gforce ones cant be that bad. You got it for a good price, so you might as well use ity and see how you get on. I think you'll like it.

I've got one on Black and it definately sounds better with the baffle out.

It's actually quieter without the baffle, but a deeper note. Very nice.

With the baffle in it is very raspy, to my ears anyway. Kinda like having an old fighter plane tagging along behind you! But then it's only in there for the MOT once a year so who cares.

Thanks for teh information. I gues I'll just mount it on my bike when it arrives and see how I like it.

Thanks again,

I just sold one on ebay for £32.50 (with damage)

The G-Force sound is not as deep as some pipes I have heard and has a rougher raspier edge to the sound with the bass in the background filling it out. At low (ish revs) its not to obtrusive but above 4-5k it really starts to roar and turn heads.

I used to start up at the Soho meets and drown out the bikes each side of me quiet often apart from the Art cans which were stupid loud.

It's a nice sound but I had to chug along at low revs when I left for work at 05:00am. All the boy racers will hear you coming but most will admit defeat with just a blip of the throttle or two as it sounds like a race tuned rasping spitting beast of an engine from Hell.
HAVE FUN
(oh and the pops crackles and flames are apparently normal)

Is this comment for real:

"(oh and the pops crackles and flames are apparently normal)"

This thing is going on my street ride, not the track. The pipe was delivered today, and after inspection I thought the quality was very good, at least as good as the other major manufacturers. Although, I do have one problem, the exhaust was advertised as a silp-on can, and it has turned out to be a 3/4 system. Now typically, this would not be a bad thing, but the head pipe will not fit my ride. Looks like a re-sell on e-bay, as I do not want to have to start all the pipe bending modification to make it fit.

Thanks again,

ImRandy
