Tail tidies and high level exhaust

I'm getting a high level Remus Revolution on my K5 and i want to get rid of that big ugly bit of plastic sticking out of the back of my bike.
My question is how well do the 2 things fit together i.e. is there enough room for indicators without them melting on the exhaust once they are moved back onto the tail tidy?

I don't think i've explained this very well but hopefully some one will know what i'm on about, and any pictures would be cool.

Thanks Liz

I think you're going to need to change the indies for either something built into an undertray or just some micro-indies.

Yup, 'tis true - The high-level can needs small indies! That is the reason I changed mine from the originals to Motrax 'short-stem' LED arrows (see link in sig. strip below :!:)

If you wait 'til next weekend you might be able to buy mine off me (including the resistors to correct the flash rate ;))

yup, you'll need to change them. I (or Viney, to be precise), changed both the can and and did the tail tidy at the same time, but I've seen some with a hi-level can and standard indies - it looks all wrong. I had a Renegade custom-made tidy, and they used the Motrax mini irridium ones on it.

Would also warn you to check the distance/ position of the number plate from the end of the exhaust. Put my H/L Renegade on, went out and melted the right corner of my plate in 5 min

good point - I also put a dinkier plate on. I got an 8x6 from Malplates for about fifteen quid, which fits the space nicely but isn't too small to draw attention.
