Bike Insurance
I know bike insurance is much of a muchness and is very individual but does anyone know any good internet based companies.
Tried a few but would like to shop around a bit to see if I can get things a bit cheaper :? Can't stand ones with "ring me" buttons :x |

As a first timer I got a great deal (maybe) from motorcycle direct.

They're a brokers but do offer damn good deals and remember, always say you've been offered a cheaper quote, it can help with the final price :-) S |

They were the best for me by miles. My current insurers were bennets and offered to renew me for slightly less than last year ....over 500 quid for fully comp. I called around and everyone else wanted about 450/475/500 ebikeinsurance quoted £283 fully comp and with free breaksown cover (that they dont shout about but include in the policy) and minimum european cover. Well worth trying. Good luck  |

Slightly off topic I realise but, my g/f renewed her 600 bandit insurance today. She was with Motorcycle Direct - they wanted £240 odd to reinsure - she ended up going with Express (brokers) who got her cover with Hastings Insurance for £204 inc breakdown cover & clothing + lid cover. (She's 34 7 has 2 yrs no claims)

ebikeinsurance quoted me 340 fully comp, I'm 28, riding bikes for 5 days, 9 points on my licence. To say I was impressed was an understatement. Bennets was 1200, Carole Nash was 750.

Is she really 347 cos I think she should try SAGA.They specialise in coffin dodgers and she seems to fit the bill.
