Bike Valued

A rather odd post for me in that im about to do something i never thought id EVER do.

say 'thankyou mr insurance company person'.

The reason? some how they have decided my k3 naked SV which i paid £3100 for almost a year ago, is worth £3975! and have paid me out accordingly.

i can only assume they read a 2 as a 3 as 2975 is a fair price for a k3 now. I wont be arguing this one!

can insurance companys do anything right?

Well done, and did you get anything for damaged clothing, lid, injury,or anything else?

Wiltshire7 08-07-05 07:04 PM

they have offered me 800 for my leather but i told em that wasnt good enough.

as for injury ive got an apointment in a week to access my injurys. not sure why as its been bloody ages since i had my crash. also ill be getting loss of earnings.

its all good and means ill probably either be getting a k4 gixxer or a z750. both quite different.

but first i think im gonna be spending alot of meh money on a private security course. Im looking at one in south africa atm. If anyonen knows anyone in this industry who has done one of these courses could you please PM me their e-mail? its very important to get rocomendations from these compamnys rather than just guess at which one to do.

cheers.

Pleased for ya - 'bout time you had some good news on the biking front

As for what you get next............. depends on what you use your bike for. You could compromise and get a Z750S. Yep, I know that they're fugly (even fuglier than a Fazer) but the bike press like 'em and the fairing works.

Loads of mid-range and much less likely to get nicked due to the general fugliness

cheers jubba :P

the insurance company was AXA, which i got through bennetts.
