K5 Mods?
 

Well, Its a lovely day and I booked the day off to fit the Scorpion that would 'definately' be here by Friday just gone. (Thanks Seastar Superbikes - thanks for debiting my credit card the moment I ordered, thanks for making false delivery promises - thanks Scorpion for not supplying the retailer etc etc)

However, not to waste a `garage day`, though I could do the two mods I have read about - the ignition retarder (2nd / 3rd gear wiring mod ) and the throttle position sensor check / adjustment.

Simple question - are these applicable and the same procedure for the K5 as that described in the main site articles?

I have also heard people state the 2nd and third gear wires that go to the trans do not do anything if removed... apparantly someone tried this on the dyno and it made no difference....

Yes I am referring to that.
I took the bike apart this afternoon, but the wiring is very different to the pictures and the diagram in the article. I could not even identify them on the ECU, that is different too, with twice as many wires.

I found the throttle position sensor, but decided not to touch that today..
