Digital Gear Indicator

Has anyone used one of these (Acumen, Datatool) and if so, where did they mount it?

I have a K3 SV650S

There was a perfect place on my Bandit, but I can't see an appropriate place on the SV.

Thanks

My brother has one on his r6. It works very well, and I'm tempted to get one as well (last week I was riding a little too relaxed and accidently tried to pull off in 3rd......clunk). As for mounting, the datatool one comes with two bits of sticky back velcro, one goes on the indicator and one on where ever you want it to go, so it an stick up or on the side of the clocks.

On my naked, it was velcro'd to the side of the brake fluid reservioir, which is rectangular, not cylindrical like the S version.

It was OK if you went carefully up and down the gears, but used to get a bit caught out around town

You change gears in town? Second does everything in the world. (sort of kidding)

Hi, I can recomend the Acumen. The display does take a second to register what gear your in but apart from that it's fine.
