How to remove suzuki restriction kit?

Does any one know how to remove the standard suzuki restriction kit? This is the kit that has the sliders.

Do i have to remove the carbs and open the black cover on the back of them?

Anybody help?

Tank up, airbox off, and there in the carb mouths you should see two holed plates. Remove them and bob's ur uncle.

Jon

hi mate

right,
ran up airbox off, losen jubliee clips around intake on engine...

pull carobs straight up they will pop off...from there u can (should be ) abe to get enought play in the cable and wires to get access to the front slide cover.... and the back one is eiasier... as its exposed to start with.. actually, best bet is to undo the rear cover while the carbs are in sittue.. give you something to push agaisnt..

the with sum long noes plier, pull the needle out.. make sure u dont loose the washers etc... take old slider of rubber, new one in... back in....needle in and push till it goes click.... then refit cover.....

word of warning, the front cover will hav ebeen exposed to the crap from the roads.... and so ill be stiff to get off... i ended up having to make the cheses cross head flat head...... which incloved me taking the carbs off conpletley... not a lot more work but inconvenient none the less.

Hope that helps,
Alex
