Tail Tidies
which companys do these for the sv650 / 1000
|
The hamicad is good. I've never heard a bad word against them.
Get one of the newer stainless ones, though, eventually the paint comes off the mild steel and then it rusts. There are cheaper options on ebay, but not spectacularly cheaper. |
i got me a stainless hamicad now all i need is my bike back from the dealers so i can fit it, quality looks really good too

Finally!! I have been searching for the right tail tidy for my SV and now I have found it! Thanks a bunch for pointing out these Hamicad guys Carsick.

You could always make one yourself. Here is the template you will need. Just get this shape cut out of a piece of metal plate and drill the holes as required. Then bend it along the dotted line. Attach your existing number plate bracket to it and make some small 'L' shaped brackets to mount your indicators.
I found this in another part of the site (Goodies section I think) http://www.thebikereview.com/iup/get8.asp?ID=829 This is the cheapest option for sure. |
i made this one to try and save a few quid but it didnt fit my sk3! i tryed to adapt it but it was a no go so i binned it.

Also, is it worth ordering the grill set at the same time? Cheers Neil |

The grills are good, since the front fender is so small you're quite likely to get stones hitting the rad and that damages the fins pretty badly. |
