Powdercoating - how much?

I'm going to get a few parts powdercoated over the next couple of years... the first batch being at the end of this year/start of next year. Fork sleeves, brake calipers, rear sets, grips to begin with.

What sort of price am I looking at for this? Is it cheaper to get a batch done in the same colour?

Cheers, Matt.

best get it all done together, usually cheaper...

as for how much, how much is a piece of string, local places will tend to be a fair bit cheaper than sending off to the specialists

Fork legs, frame, swinger, battery box, front fairing mounts, foot hangers and jsut about every other sodding thing you could coat at Redditch Shotblasting for sub £200

Got my wheels blasted there too, £40 for the pair IIRC (thats only bead blasted though).

Damn fine finish *but* be prepared to wait, they ain't quick but they are worth the wait.

ring round and get it all done at once at the same place, otherwise you'll see a differevce in quality and the P&P / travel to drop it off etc will be a killer too

Grips? You mean the bars? Might be quite hard to do that and then refit the contorls without marking the finish, powdercoat can be quite thick...

My torque arm and fork lowers were £25 all in, in gloss black, if that's any help. Also,

http://www.triple-s.co.uk/ has a huge price list. They seem pretty expensive to me- they'd charge more for wheels in a metallic than I paid for the wheels and sprocket carrier... But it could be useful for comparison, and they do fantastic work from what I've seen (even the guy I used commented on their range of colours...)
