Parking the SV

God I am so rubbish at parking the SV in bays. Is it just hard? It's a K4S.

Are you quite short? It's really not difficult (he says just before crashing into somebody elses bike then putting his sidestand down a drain cover and dropping his bike)

thor 22-07-05 02:26 PM

No, I just can't seem to line it up right.

Ok - it's just because I suck isn't it?

Carsick 22-07-05 02:27 PM

Probably.

Maybe not, I find the SV harder to (wo)man-handle around than the FireBlade - which is bigger, wider, heavier and more expensive.

The SV does lean quite a lot on the side stand though and I find it hard to put it on the side stand without touching another bike once I get in a gap, where other bikes have no probem.

Yeah, I have often thought it leans over a lot. I have the mirror extenders on it too which makes it hard to fit it into small space.

The stand really worries me, imo it doesnt go out to the front enough, quite easy to push forward of it!

daddy_sperm 22-07-05 04:05 PM

when the tail is raised it makes it lean at scary angles

thor 22-07-05 04:05 PM

Yeah I thought that too. I usually leave it in gear now.
