SV650S K5 Seat Removal

How do I remove front seat?
trying to install a hamicad tail tidy and need to remove the front seat to get side panels off but cannot find any release mechanism.
Im sure this is a really simple question, but how to I get it off????

Dont worry guys,

had to remove the two frame covers at the front!!

Unscrew the two allen nuts on the black side pods under the seat, that will reveal two larger allen nuts that hold the seat on... Undo these nuts & Bob's your uncle ;)

Marky..Glad you got sorted. Were there no instructions in the Hamicad box? I found them very good and almost idiot proof!

DON'T FORGET TO RECONNECT YOUR SEAT POD RELEASE CABLE!!!! 8)

Narr the two 6mm (10mm Head) bolts that hold the old snow plough on @ the back... there the real pain..

Thanks for you comments guys!

The Hamicad instructions had fantastic screenshots and I cant recommend the tail tidy enough, makes such an improvement. anyway, the instructions just showed the next picture with the seat removed, didnt even mention you had to remove it?

Bar that I found the whole procedure extremely easy.

Thanks again!
