All this rain's tipped them over the edge from nice leather gloves to smelly horrible gloves... which in turn makes my hands stink too..
Short of attacking them with Febreez, anyone got any good de-stink measures? |

Hand wash them - ha ha!
no seriously, basin of hot water, with some persil, stick the gloves on and wring your hands. Drain filthy water and then rinse with cold. |

I regularly hang out my motorcycle gear in the garden (but not in
this weather, of course). This is the only solution I have found. Never had problems with gloves but my pants sometimes have to spend several days in the garden at a time. With gloves I have another, quite bizarre problem. My reserve pair is from Lidl (£4.99). When these reserve gloves get really wet the paint starts coming off and my hands become dark blue. Almost impossible to wash off later. Gives me the appearance of a well decomposed corpse. |

Stick 'em in the freezer overnight - this kills the bugs that make the smells. Obviously, let 'em thaw out again before wearing 'em  HTH. |
